Vistorina Johannes is Ovambo and born on 31st of May 1994. She has two sisters and two brothers and was living with her father who works as a hostel worker. Her mother passed away when Vistorina was very young. Vistorina is sometimes a bit cheeky but very eager for knowledge.

Malento Jods, a Damara girl, is born on May 31st, 1995 and is in a special class because she got serious problems with reading and writing. She has one sister and two brothers. Her mother is unemployed, her father is working as a policeman in Gobabis.

Georgene Muruko is born on the 10th of December 1998. She is a half Damara half Herero and was living with her grandparents at their farm because her mother is disabled. She got a stepmother who is caring a lot for her. Both Georgene’s sisters passed away; she's the only child left. She is a very clever girl and very attentive in class.

Ludmilla Khaises, born on the 8th of November 1994, is a Damara girl. She was living alone with her other and a younger brother. Her mother lost her job and hasn't got any income at the moment. Ludmilla is a very uncomplicated girl, sometimes a little bit too serious.

Jasmin Garises, born on the 19th of June 1999, is a Damara girl and has got two sisters and two brothers. Her mother is unemployed, her father is working as a housekeeper. Jasmin is already very independant and responsible for her age.

Kazejazemua Nguaiko, born on 21st of February 1998, is the daughter of the housemother. She is a Herero girl. She doesn't know her father who is staying in Otjiwarongo. She got an adult sister; it's the first time she's living with her mother. Before, she was grown up by the grandmother. She had no problem to settle in Siama and is accepting the other girls as her sisters.

Alisha and Alido de Klerk are twin sisters. They are born on the 4th of May 1998. They have one younger brother and two sisters. One of them is  Dankie, who is also living at Siama since this year. Their parents live in Windhoek; they have no income; only the father got casual work. Alido is the quiter one of the two; Alisha has a very "robust" character and is fighting her way through very well. They are Nama..

Dankie de Klerk is the elder sister of the twins. She is born on 25 August,.1994. She's the oldest child in her family and very close to Alido. Dankie is half Nama and half Herero.

Bernice Pitt is born on 4th of August 1995 and a good learner. She was living alone with her mother and a younger brother; they are couloured. The mother is working as a housemaid and earning 40 Euro per month.She would like to become a teacher.

Desiree !Nu-Eises, born on 11th of July 1998, is a San child. Her family is living on a farm and suffering Aids. They've got a very low income. She has two sisters and two brothers. Desiree is scared by people she doesn't know and it takes a lot of time to get in contact with her.

Engenesia, !Nu-Eises, born on 6th of May 1997, is Desiree's cousin. Her mother who is the sister of Desiree's mother. Engenesia is a very good athlete, especially in jumping and running.

Alexandriene Petrus, born on 6th of November 1999. Her family is living in "Five Rand", a very poor part of the Omaruru township. She's half Herero, half Ovambo.

Rebekka Mathias, born on 28th of February 1998. She's an Ovambo orphan, living with the family of her aunt who have themselves three children and therefore can't take her in charge . She's a quiet girl but well accepted by the other Siama Girls.

Nguvitjita Garises, born on 28th of December 2000. She's the little sister of Jasmin and Damara.
